RAIDERS 18/19 SEASON HAS KICKED OFF
Sunday saw our Under 12s and Under 15s begin their 2018/2019 campaign with two matches. The Under 12s lost 4-2 to Worthing Town in a hard-fought match in their first competitive game together as a team. The Under 15s beat Lewes Ladies FC 3-2 in an evenly-matched fixture.
RUSTINGToN RAIDERS SUPPORT THE FA FOR ALL RESPECT CAMPAIGN
Rustington Raiders are proud to support the FA campaign and agree with the statement ‘good behaviour makes for a great game.’ All players, coaches, and parents have signed to say they will play in a way that illustrates this ideology. This sign will also be seen pitch-side at all matches to serve as a reminder of the way Rustington Raiders would like to play.
UNDER 16’s DOUBLE-HEADER AGAINST RINGMER
Due to waterlogged pitches and fixture congestion, we were forced to play a double-header on Sunday at home to Ringmer Rovers. This was also to be the Under 16s first home game at Decoy Drive. The first game ended 3-3 with goals from Abbi, Beth and Amber. The second was a hard-fought 0-1 loss.
WOMEN’S MID-WEEK WIN
The women’s team achieved a mid-week win against Horsham Sparrows. A hard-fought and well earned 3-2 result.
RAIDERS WOMEN V WORTHING TOWN
Today was Raiders first game at our new home ground in Angmering against Worthing Town. Unfortunately, we only had 10 players and went down 2-8. Valiant performance on a strength-sapping, muddy pitch. Goals scored by Sophie Knowlton and Tia Martin.

RAIDERS DONATE FOOTBALLS TO LOCAL SCOUTS
On Friday night, our chairman donated some of our footballs to a local scout group, Rustington Pioneer Scouts, forging links within our community and encouraging more people to play football.
Raiders move to a new home
The Rustington Raiders journey continues! In our never-ending quest for better playing and training facilities for our girls and women, we have now secured Angmering Football Club as our brand new home ground.
Two eleven-a-side pitches, one being floodlit, one nine-a-side and one seven-a-side, four changing rooms and a club house serving a range of reasonably-priced drinks and snacks and with BT Sports in the bar. The goal posts are also permanent so no setting up on match days, only the nets to be put away.
I feel this new area will allow us to continue to grow as a club and we hope you are excited about the move as we are.
